As we know the eclipse is considered very important in Hinduism. According to religious beliefs, every eclipse has its good and bad effects on every person. In the year 2020, there will be 6 eclipses in total, out of which 2 are solar eclipses and 4 will be lunar eclipses. But the special thing of the lunar eclipse that is happening this year is that the lunar eclipse will be of the shadow eclipse in which the moon will neither hide completely nor will its black shadow fall on the earth.
10 January 2020 is Paush Purnima. This day will be the first lunar eclipse of the year, this eclipse will be 4 hours and 5 minutes in total. The lunar eclipse will begin at 11:37 am on the night of January 10 and the eclipse period will end at 11:42 am on January 11.
This shadow lunar eclipse will also be seen in India. At the time of the eclipse, you will see the moon getting somewhat dim. Along with this, apart from India, this eclipse can be seen in Europe, Africa countries, Australia and many Asian countries including India.
Let me tell you that in the scriptures, the shadow lunar eclipse has not been seen as an eclipse. So, on this day, festival festivals and poojas to be done on the full moon date will be done in this way.
